Treating Anxiety, OCD & Related Disorders in Children & Adolescents:
2-Day Certification Training

Online Live Webinar: Real-Time, Interactive Training

Workshop Information

A 2-day/12-hour CE (Continuing Education) course on the etiology, diagnosis, and treatment of anxiety and OC-related disorders in children and adolescents to become a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional -  Child and Adolescent (CCATP-CA) or a Certified Anxiety-Informed Professional (CAIP).

Anxiety, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), and OC-related disorders are among the most prevalent mental health conditions experienced by children and adolescents. The US Surgeon General issued an advisory in December 2021 regarding the youth mental health crisis. Data suggests that this prevalence has risen dramatically in the past few years and has been exacerbated by the global pandemic and related effects. Mental health providers regularly find themselves called upon to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients for the treatment of these disorders.

This workshop is designed to be a comprehensive, intensive 2-day course that will provide mental health providers with the knowledge and skills to competently assess and treat anxiety, OCD, and OC-related disorders with evidence-based interventions such as cognitive behavioral therapy to include exposure and response prevention and acceptance and commitment therapy.

At the completion of this course, attendees will be eligible to become a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional -Child & Adolescent (CCATP-CA). The first year of certification is included in the course registration fee - See below for certification details
