Unraveling Complex Trauma:
Conceptualization, Assessment, and Interventions
Workshop Information
Online Live Webinar: Real-Time, Interactive Training
Over the course of the last 10 years, there has been a marked increase in the percentage of complex trauma cases seen in all levels of mental health, substance use, eating disorder, and inpatient treatment settings. Concurrently, our understanding of how trauma and sustained trauma effect the brain as an organ has also improved during this time. This workshop will focus on the conceptual aspects of Complex Trauma, its effect on the brain with the latest neuroscientific information, and interventions aimed at healing the brain, body, and psyche for stabilization of symptoms and improved quality of life.
Our focus will be on how to use this information to correlate an effective treatment plan of interventions to target and heal the impact of sustained stress on a person’s system.
