Workshop Information

Understanding the different types of grief and its impact on treatment is crucial when working with clients who are grieving. Clinicians often struggle with identifying the different types of grief to better support their clients who are experiencing the grieving process. Key constructs, their origins, and impact will be discussed.

This training will empower clinicians with the tools to be able to conceptualize grief using diverse grief models. Attendees will be able to identify ethical dilemmas related to working with the terminally ill, minors, and end-of-life.

Upon completion of this self-paced on-demand Category II training, you will be eligible to become a Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP) through Evergreen Certifications. Tiffani Dilworth, MA, LCPC, is a successful psychotherapist, author, and sought -after speaker who addresses topics related to grief, PTSD, and sexual assault. She is a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist. She has worked across the US with various organizations, schools, universities, and corporations to bring awareness to the grieving process and concrete tools to learn how to live alongside grief. Miss Dilworth is known for her innovative and story-telling presentation style. Her passion leads her to intensive studying of grief and continuous searches for new ways to support and share therapeutic techniques to support others in their grieving process.

Miss Dilworth has an extensive history of working alongside non-profit organizations that provide supportive workshops, conferences, and support groups to men, women, and teens who’ve experienced grief and/or sexual assault. She was a Co-host on Beyond Clarity Radio Show, on WTAN 106.1 FM in Clearwater, FL, as a Mental Health Expert. Miss Dilworth currently conducts grief workshops and hosts, Managing My Grief Podcast, to provide support to individuals who want to learn more about grief and ways to manage their own grief.
 

Miss Dilworth is the author of 11 Tools to Help Manage the Aftermath of Trauma and Types of Grief. She has a private practice and is an affiliate of PsychExperts & Associates Inc, located in Baltimore, MD. Miss Dilworth draws equally from her studies and rich clinical experience to balance her trainings with current information and experienced-based techniques.

CE and Course Completion Requirements:

To earn the full CE Credits and successfully complete this course participants are required to: 

  1. Enroll in the course and complete the attendee attestation at the start of the course.

  2. Watch course videos in full and in order and complete course activities.

  3. Receive a passing score of at least 80% on all course quizzes. Quizzes may be retaken by participants.

  4. Complete the required course evaluation at the conclusion of the course. 

  5. A code will be sent to participants who have completed the course and the evaluation. Using this code participants must complete the final Code Quiz at the end of the training to receive their certificate.
     

Refund and Cancellations:

To request a refund or cancellation please submit the required information through our Contact page. Customers may request a refund (minus admin fee) or credit towards another training within 14 days after course purchase AND if they have not watched/completed more than 5 videos, lessons, or activities in the course.
